Planing Bureau Jesaitis

The firm ‘Dirk Jesaitis e. K. Wind Power & Financial Consultants’, known as ‘Planning Bureau Jesaitis’, is one of the pioneers of wind energy in Germany and installed its first wind power plants in Dithmarschen on the North Sea coast as early as 1991. Presently, more than 100 wind power plants of different manufacturers are running with a nominal output of between 250 KW and 2.5 MW.

After Mr Jesaitis Senior began to slowly withdraw from the planning of wind power plants at the end of the nineties, Dirk Jesaitis employed a secretary at the bureau in Eckernförde. The ever growing business activities of the planning bureau and the extensive work load of Dirk Jesaitis as Chairman of the Board of the Wind7 Joint-Stock Company meant that more back-up by new employees was necessary in 2001.

As a qualified bank clerk, Dirk Jesaitis had so far also attended to financial consulting. With additional employees joining the team, their competence was channelled solely into the company’s new main focus: wind power planning in Germany and abroad.

"4WIND" becomes "PLAN 8"

  • On the 08.08.2008, 4Wind was renamed into PLAN 8 GmbH.
  • Since October 2010 ist PLAN 8 TM GmbH forms part of the PLAN 8 Group.
